Extension of the Cooperation Agreement between NATO SP COE and the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) until 31st December 2024.

On 5 December 2022 in Washington DC, Colonel Giuseppe de Magistris, NATO SP COE’s Director, and Mr. James F. Sopko, SIGAR’s Inspector General, signed an Aide Memoire related to the extension of the Cooperation Agreement between NATO SP COE and SIGAR until 31st December 2024.

In the margins of the event an office call has been made, together with Mr Jaryd Bern (SIGAR CoS) and Col (ROU Jandarmeria) Dorin Luta (NATO SP COE Lessons Learned Branch Head), where the details of future activities, organized in the framework of the new Cooperation Agreement have been discussed. Specifically, the purpose to organize several events dedicated to the presentation of the “Police in Conflict” report in early 2023.
