Police Capability Building in NATO Operations
Aim of the Course
The course aims to provide attendees with knowledge about the fundamentals of policing and policing models, and with knowledge and attitudes for designing and conducting Police Capability Building (PCB) activities within NATO Operations.
Delivery Method
The course has been planned as a blended learning solution. The course starts with a distance learning period with assigned pre-requisite e-learning modules, followed by a 5 days residential part, including interactive lectures, syndicate works, and guided discussions.
Application
The NATO SP COE will organize the third edition of the course “Police Capability Building in NATO Operations” on 18 November – 22 November 2024, in Vicenza/Italy.
The course is open for NATO, PfP, MD, ICI and other nations (NATO partners) as approved.
The NATO Stability Policing Centre of Excellence actively encourages the participation of women to its activities, fully in line with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000), which advocates for a wider role and contribution of the latter in field-based operations.
Course Duration: 5 days.
Number of seats available: 20.
Target audience: The course is open to OF3-OF5 of all services and civilian equivalent.
Security Clearance: not required.
Tuition fee: 160 Euro.
