Col. Andrea Paris
Col. Andrea Paris attended the military college “Nunziatella” in Naples, from 1983 to 1986, the Military Academy, from 1986 to 1988, and the Carabinieri Officers College until 1990. He was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in 1988 after the graduation from the Military Academy.
His military career includes operational assignments in Vicenza, Trapani, Riva del Garda, Genova, Torre Annunziata and Brindisi as well as two tours of duty as a staff officer at the Carabinieri General Headquarters. He also served in the operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UN IPTF), FYROM (NATO TASK FORCE HARVEST) and Iraq (Coalition). In 2007, He spent a six months tour of duty as seconded national expert to the EU Police Unit of the Secretariat of the Council, for the planning of the Operation “EUPOL Afghanistan”.
Col. Andrea Paris assumed duty as Director of the NATO Stability Policing Centre of Excellence in August 2015. His previous assignment was Carabinieri Provincial Commander in Brindisi.
